Canister maintenance without double taps means buckets, siphons and a wet cabinet floor. With them, you close both valves, split the coupling in the middle, and carry the filter to the sink with the hoses still full — not a drop spilled, nothing re-primed but the filter itself. This Chihiros version runs shorter than traditional double taps to fit tight cabinets, in straight 12/16 and 16/22 sizes plus a reducer that steps between them.
